Twitter's threads feature lets you easily link tweets together

After increasing the character count in Tweet from 140 to 280, Twitter is now adding a new feature to its platform, that will make it easier for users to build tweetstorms by linking several tweets together in threads.

For a number of years now, users used to reply to the parent tweet and stitch tweets together to share more information or tell longer story. However, it was difficult to discover previous tweets in a thread and add more information.

Now to make it simpler to thread Tweets together, Twitter has added a plus button to the composer that lets you add new tweet to existing ones, then publish the entire thread in one go. You can also continue to add more tweets to your published thread at any time by clicking “Add another Tweet” button.

Twitter is also adding a "Show this thread" label to make it easier to discover threads.

The update that include the new thread feature will start rolling out to iOS, Android and Twitter.com in the coming weeks.
