Idea's Rs. 309 plan offers free roaming calls, 1GB data per day for 28 days

Idea Cellular has come out with a new Rs. 309 plan for its prepaid customers that offers voice and data benefits. 

The Rs. 309 plan offers unlimited local and STD calls, free roaming outgoing calls, 100 SMSes per day and 1GB of 3G data per day for 28 days. However, you can get additional 1GB data (only) for the validity period if you recharge the pack from Idea's website or MyIdea app. The additional 1GB data can be used on top of daily 1GB FUP.

Do note that, just like other Idea plans, in the new Rs. 309 plan the free calls are capped at 250 minutes per days and 1000 minutes per week. Once the limit is exhausted, you'll be charged 1 paisa per second. Also, users are not allowed to call more than 100 unique numbers in a week. If you cross the limit the calls will be charged at 1 paisa per second.

Just recently Idea rolled out Rs. 509 prepaid plan that offers 1GB data per day but with longer validity. It comes with 84 days validity and also offers unlimited local and STD calling facility, free-roaming outgoing calls as well as 100 SMSes per day. Idea is also offering 1GB of extra data for 28 days if you recharge via MyIdea app.The additional 1GB data can be used on top of daily 1GB FUP.
